This article will guide you in transitioning from the Legacy Website Widget to the new Chat Widget
Step 1: Check plan and schedule meeting
If you're on a Basic, Premium, Business or Enterprise plan, you can directly move on to step 2.
If you're not yet on a Basic, Premium, Business or Enterprise plan, schedule a meeting with your Customer Success Manager here to discuss what plan best suits your needs and wishes.
Step 2: Create new chat widget
Create a new chat widget at Integrations. You can use this Help Center article to create the widget.
Step 3: Set up the new chat widget
Now it's time to fully customize the chat widget so it perfectly matches your company branding. You can use this Help Center article to guide you.
Step 4: Connect the new chat widget to your chatbot
Navigate to Pulse and edit the chatbot profile. Select the new chat widget as a channel.
Step 5: Add the new chat widget to your website
Replace the Legacy website widget by the newly created chat widget by removing the code snippet from the Legacy website widget and adding the code snippet of the new chat widget, which you can find in the tab 'Placement'. In this Help Center article you can read how to place this.
Step 6: Complete transition by December 2024
Ensure that your new chat widget is fully operational before December 2024.
