This article explains how to set your business hours and out of office message
Setting business hours
- Navigate to Settings and then to Business hours.
- Select the business hours you want to configure.
- In the schedule, you can tick the days your business is open and specify the available times. If you untick a box, it means your business is closed for the entire day.
Business hours refer to the times when your live agents are available, and the AI Agent can transfer the conversation to a team member. The AI Agent will remain active outside of these hours!
Setting an Out of office message
When you set an out of office message, customers will automatically receive a notification when live chat is unavailable. Here’s how to set it up:
- Navigate to Settings and then to Business Hours.
- Select the business hours for which you want to configure an out of office message and click on Out of office message.
- Enter the message that customers will receive when they contact you outside business hours (or are forwarded by the AI Agent during those times).
We recommend including your business hours in the message so customers know when they can reach you.
