Are you looking for a conversation you closed earlier but can't seem to find it anymore? In this article, you'll learn how to easily locate your conversation!
- Check your contacts list: When you close a conversation, it disappears from your conversation overview and is linked to the respective contact. If you can't find the conversation, first check your contacts list. If at least a first name has been entered, you should be able to find the conversation there. If the contact is Anonymous, the conversation cannot be found here.
- Exporting conversations: If you can't find the conversation through your contacts list, try exporting conversations from Statistics. Sometimes the conversation can still be found there, even if it's no longer in your Conversations.
- Deleted or automatically removed: If you can't find the conversation in your contacts list and also not via export, it may have been deleted. Conversations are automatically removed when the linked contact is deleted or if you have deleted the conversation instead of closing it (perhaps accidentally). This means the conversation will no longer be visible in Conversations or in the export from statistics.
By following these steps, you can hopefully find the conversation you closed.
