A mismatch is a question to which the chatbot doesn't know the answer. The question being asked can't be matched with an answer: a mismatch! The Watermelon platform collects all the mismatches in one overview, do you can match the question being asked to the right answer, or add a new answer.
If the chatbot has been tested or has been active with customers, the questions that the chatbot doesn't understand, or Mismatches need to be resolved.
- Go to Settings
- Select Chatbot/Suggestion bot
- Select Add knowledge
- Click on Mismatches
By clicking on search for answer, you can get the correct answer by means of a keyword. If you see that the already existing question variation has the same intention, you can easily add it by clicking on the answer. Then click on save and the question has been added and the mismatch has been eliminated!
Sometimes, however, there will be no question variation recognizable with the mismatch and you will have to eliminate the mismatch yourself or completely remove it if you think it is not useful to link a question and answer pair.
If you want to get rid of the mismatch you can click on set answer, then you will find the diagram below where you can add multiple question variations and an answer. When this is done, the mismatch will disappear from the list and the chatbot has become smarter.
