Add a start button to your conversation

You can set up conversations to start by having your customers click on or tap a "Get Started" button. This means your customers don't need to ask you something in order to trigger a conversation, but can choose to begin with a button.

Add the start button to your main conversation. Select the start button module:

You can fill in the text you want to appear on the button: for example "Chat with Charlie".

You can then provide your customers a multiple choice module in order to specify what they're asking about. This helps steer the conversation to a satisfactory outcome.
