Within a conversation, it is possible to have the visitor reply in an input field. In this article you can read how to do this.

Within a conversation, it is possible to have the visitor reply in an input field. The chatbot does not respond to the entered text, but allows the agent to follow up on entered texts from customers.

How to use an input field?

You can enter the loose text as desired so you could have the visitor answer anything. In the example below, the chatbot asks; Which month has 28 days?

Note: The use of the input field is built for human employees so they can follow up on information left behind. The chatbot cannot respond substantively to the input field.
